We walked 20km up over a 1600ft ridge from O Porrino. Redondela sits on an inlet from the Atlantic Ocean. Galicia is a very green and mountainous area

Dave and I made the trek from O Porrino to Rondevala today. Celebrated with a fine bottle of Galician wine.

While the Portuguese will turn out a good bottle of wine for a few dollars, I find Spanish wine far superior. This glass of Rioja was awesome.

Appropriately enough, we entered Galicia to incessant rain throughout the day. We were soaked both from the rain and from the high humidity which turned our rain coats into a walking steam room.
