Dave and I walked the 16miles on paths, barren beaches and through forrests. It was by far the longest day yet on the camino. For me, it was the most beautiful adventure. We saw few other pilgrims.
Great beach front town. Lots of wind. The horizon inland is dotted with large scale wind turbines. I could see Peniche off in the distance. I find it ironic that Santa Cruz CA shares a surfing heritage with this town.
